Sportsshooter update

May 14, 2009

I haven’t meant to, but I have neglected my SS page for a little while.

I fixed that tonight.

picture-1

Check out the new update, complete with plenty of sporting events from the past month, here!

Alternate title: PUPPIES!!!

My little sister got back from an internship in South Africa earlier this month, and my mom watched one one of her two furchildren while she was away. I took some photos of the girls — Ella Mae (my sister’s pup), Callie (my mom’s dog) and Lucy (mine!) — the last time I was home.

The dogs were having a fantastic time, and the photos show that.

Don’t dogs make everything better?

Election day goodness

May 6, 2009

Yesterday was election day in Hattiesburg and Petal, and I spent quite a bit of my day in the latter.

Here are some of my favorite voting shots:

You can see more election-oriented art here, here and here. (Check out some of my fellow photog, Matt Bush’s, work!)

And, to take a break from the election stuff, I was sent to the city’s annual Senior Prom. (No, it isn’t like what you’re thinking.) This ONE photo should explain why I thought the assignment was so fantastic.

Happy Wednesday, y’all!
