As a child, I was known as “Chatty Cathy,” ever-talkative and eager to tell my latest tale. In the years since, I’ve quieted down, but one thing remains the same: Whether I’m telling it, listening to it or documenting it, I love a good story.
As a photographer, I’m an expert in capturing the sweet in-between moments that show our true spirit. Once a newspaper staff photographer, I’ve adapted my skill set to work with individuals, couples and pets. And I’m an expert at rolling with the punches. Last minute location change? No problem. Unexpected rain shower? I have an umbrella. Think you look fat in those pants today? Let’s try a dress!
My clients are passionate, and so am I. When I’m not pouring my creative energy into capturing your special moments, I love to spend time with my husband, friends and family, chase after my Border Collie pup, Lucy Belle, and get lost in books of all genres. I spend a lot of time baking delicious treats for food blog, The Speckled Palate. And I run… because as one of my friends put it, “Eat to run. Run to eat.” I couldn’t have said it better myself!
It’s an honor to spend Saturday afternoons in the park and quiet moments in your home, capturing you and your loved ones (be they two- or four-legged!) on film. Your values, creativity and spontaneity are what make me so passionate about my work.
